How to Sign-up on Kaamfu?

We’re thrilled to have you join Kaamfu, your all-in-one work management platform. Setting up your account is straightforward and quick. This guide will walk you through all the steps needed to get started on your journey with us.

Steps to Sign-up on Kaamfu #

To begin using Kaamfu, you need an invitation to sign up on the platform. Organization owners receive invitations from our team, while organization members are invited by their owner or administrator. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete the process.

Step 1: Click the invite link #

Check your inbox for an invitation email from Kaamfu. This email contains a unique invitation link. Click on the link to initiate your sign-up process.

Step 2: Enter your details #

On the sign-up page, navigate to the Sign-Up tab and enter your email address. Create a secure password, then click Sign-Up to proceed.

Step 3: Verify your email address #

After submitting your details, a verification code will be sent to your email. Locate this email, copy the code, and paste it into the verification field on the sign-up page. Click Verify to continue.

Step 4: Getting Started Process #

Once verified, you will be redirected to the Getting Started page. Follow the steps outlined below to set up your account.

Step 4.1 – Create a Personal Profile #

Fill in the required information here, including uploading an image for your profile picture. Once completed, click Next.

Step 4.2 – Accept the invitation #

Move to the next step, as highlighted on the left-hand panel, and click Accept Invitation.

Step 4.3 – Install Kaamfu Workstation Connect #

Now it’s time to install Kaamfu’s time-tracking application, Workstation Connect.

To do this:

  • Click Download to obtain the setup file.
  • After downloading, double-click the setup file on your computer to begin the installation process.

Note: If prompted to allow your system to run the application, click More Information and then select Run Anyway.

Step 5 – Log-in to Kaamfu Workstation Connect #

Once installed, the Kaamfu Workstation Connect application will open. Select your organization from the dropdown menu.

A work agreement window will appear. Check the box to accept the terms, then click Yes, Proceed. You are now logged into the Workstation Connect application, which will automatically start tracking your work.

 

Step 6: Click Let’s Go on the Getting Started page #

A pop-up window will appear. Click Okay to confirm.

You will then be redirected to the Kaamfu Web Application to continue setting up your workspace.

Further steps to be followed by Organization Owners #

If you are an organization owner, you must create your Kaamfu workspace before inviting your team members to the platform. Follow these steps:

Create Your Workspace #

After signing up, set up your Kaamfu workspace by adding departments and projects. You can do this in the Work Panel, as outlined in this article. Alternatively, you may request the Kaamfu team to create a default workspace for you.

Invite your team #

Once your workspace is ready, onboard your team members. You can either handle this process yourself or assign it to an employee. Refer to the detailed steps in this article to invite your team to the Kaamfu platform.

Mandate the desktop application for your team #

Ensure that all team members use the Workstation Connect application by following these steps:

Navigate to the Team panel on the left-hand menu.

You will see a list of all your employees. Click on any one of them.

Click on the Screenshots option at the top.

Open the menu (burger icon) and check the required box, as shown below.
