We understand that different projects may have similar tasks and thus our interface allows you to replicate tasks, or even an entire department. Let’s explore the ways in which this can be done.
Drag-and-Drop #
The Kanban-style layout of the Work Panel makes moving an item between groups easier. Whether you wish to move a Space from one group to another, or similarly a Board or Item, this can simply be done by dragging the item from group to another. This feature is also useful when you want to reorder items in a group.
How Drag-and-drop Works? #
Follow the below steps to move an item by drag-and-drop:
- Click on the item you want to move
- Move your cursor to the left end to find the drag-and-drop symbol
- Drag the item and drop it to the position or group you want
Copy & Move Option #
Keeping your projects and departments organized in Kaamfu is super simple with the option of Copy & Move. It is available on all levels of the Work Panel – Spaces, Boards, and Items. This feature allows you to duplicate or relocate tasks across spaces and boards.
How Copy & Move Works? #
Follow the below steps:
- Hover over the task you want to copy or move, then click the Copy & Move option
- A pop-up appears displaying a hierarchy of Spaces, Boards, and Item in your workspace. Select the destination.
- Click Copy to replicate the item into the selected destination, or , click Move to transfer the item to the destination.
Note: Before you can move or copy an item using this feature, make sure you’ve created the Board or Item group in the destination Space, so it will appear in the hierarchy.
