Employee Desktop Screenshots #
Both the Kaamfu web and Workstation Connect applications contribute to screen monitoring. When a user shifts in for the day, the Workstation Connect application captures regular screenshots of their desktop, that can be accessed from the web application.
Who can access desktop screenshots? #
When you build your Kaamfu workspace and add your team to it, you can set membership levels for each employee. Those at the owner-level membership can access or view screenshots of their downline, i.e. employees working under their instructions, in the Team Panel.
Where to find desktop screenshots? #
To access employee desktop screenshots, follow these steps:
Step 1 – Logging in
Go to Kaamfu’s Web Application on your browser and log-in to your Kaamfu account (make sure you’re logging in with your owner/admin credentials).
Step 2 – Go to the Team Panel
Go to the Team section of the Navigation Panel on the left pane.
Step 3 – Click on a user
The Team section will display a list of your downline as profile bubbles. Click on the user whose desktop screenshots you wish to access.
Step 4 – Click on Screenshots
On the top, you will see the Screenshots option. Click on it.
This section displays timestamped desktop screenshots of the user. Give it some time to load.
Options in the Screenshots Pane #
When you hover your cursor over any of the screenshots here, you can see a check box and two options appear, which are:
- A cross mark
- A share icon
Use these options to select one or more screenshots and delete them or send them to a conversation.
