Kaamfu keeps its users informed of new notifications through its Activity Panel, Activity Queue, and notification sounds. The Activity Panel: All-in-One Notification Hub #
One of the key sub-panels of the Navigation Panel in the Kaamfu web application is the Activity Panel. This section displays all the activities a user has participated in within the workspace. It gives users a comprehensive overview of all activities they are involved in, such as:
- Tasks
- Group conversations
- Groups
- Individual chats
How it works: #
Activity Indicators
Activities with new notifications are highlighted with a red circle and a number. For instance, if you see “3” next to an activity, it means there are three new updates in it.
Quick Navigation
Clicking on any activity with a new notification takes you to its conversation. So you can stay caught up on communication and never miss an update.
Persistent Overview
The Activity Panel allows users to view all their activities in one place, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
The Activity Queue: Quick Updates at a Glance #
Located at the bottom-right corner of the Kaamfu web application, the Activity Queue is your gateway to immediate updates. As the name suggests, this feature is a que for all updates in the workspace. It gives you instant access to task and conversation updates without the need to switch windows or tabs.
The number on the Activity Queue icon represents the count of new notifications. For example, if you see “3”, it means there are three new updates from tasks or conversations. It corresponds to the number of activities in the Activity Panel that have new updates.
How it works: #
Cumulative Updates
The Activity Queue collects updates from the Activity Panel and displays a corresponding number. This way you don’t need to scroll through a long conversation or jump from one task to another to stay updated.
Sequential Access
Each click on the Activity Queue directs you to a specific update. To view all updates, click the queue repeatedly until the notifications are cleared.
Actionable Alerts
Once you review an update, it is marked as read, reducing the notification count. This gives you the ability to deal with updates one by one, thereby eliminating the chance of missing out on work progress.
Notification Sounds: Never Miss an Alert #
Kaamfu enhances its notification system with sound alerts to ensure users are aware of updates even when they aren’t actively viewing the app.

Both the Activity Panel and the Activity Queue are interrelated, which means, the number displayed in the Activity Queue corresponds to the number of activities in the Activity Panel that have updates. Additionally, the same number is also displayed on the browser tab as depicted below.
