Enterprise Support: Assistance for new Kaamfu users

Are you new to Kaamfu and need a little extra help setting up your workspace? With the Enterprise Support feature, you can get personalized assistance from a Kaamfu admin who can temporarily join your workspace, guide you through setup, and help resolve any challenges. It’s easy to enable, flexible, and ensures you make the most of the Kaamfu platform from day one.

What is Enterprise Support? #

Enterprise Support is a dedicated feature in the Kaamfu platform designed to help newly onboarded organizations or existing ones that need assistance. It enables a Kaamfu admin to temporarily join an organization’s workspace and assist with setup, navigation, or troubleshooting. This feature ensures a seamless onboarding experience and quick resolution of any platform-related queries.

How Enterprise Support Works #

The Enterprise Support is accessible directly within the Kaamfu web application and can be toggled on or off by the organization owner.

Enabling Enterprise Support #

The support can be enabled by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Profile icon at the top right corner of the Kaamfu web application.
  2. Tick the checkbox that says Kaamfu Enterprise Support.
  3. Click ‘Okay’ in the pop-up window.
Kaamfu Admin Assistance #

Once enabled, a Kaamfu admin is added to the organization’s workspace temporarily. The Kaamfu admin can view the organization in their workspace list. To assist the organization, the Kaamfu admin has to go to their profile at the top-right corner of the interface a toggle to the specific organization’s workspace.

The Kaamfu admin will help with navigating through the interface and other support requests. They can create Spaces, Boards, and Items, take part in conversations, and troubleshoot any issues the organization owner is experiencing.

Disabling Enterprise Support #

Once support is no longer needed, the organization owner can disable Enterprise Support by clicking on the Profile men untick the Kaamfu Enterprise Support checkbox.

A pop-window opens. To complete the disablement, the organization owner should click on ‘Okay’.

The Kaamfu admin is then removed from the organization’s workspace, and this will automatically be applied to the Kaamfu admin’s profile as well. They will not be able to see that organization in the Profile menu options.

  3. Can more than one Kaamfu admin assist at a time?
    No, currently backend configuration allows only one Kaamfu admin to access an organization workspace at a time.
  4. What if I no longer need Enterprise Support?
    You can untick the Enterprise Support checkbox from your profile options, and the Kaamfu admin will be removed from your workspace.
